Biden Is Leading The Polls | A New DNC Poll

This week has been an explosive one on capital hill. The impeachment inquiry drags on, uncertainty in the marketplace continues, and a new poll from the DNC shows Joe Biden leading by a big margin. You can take a look at all the polling here: http://cdn.cnn.com/cnn/2019/images/10/22/rel12b.-.2020.pdf

"Thirty-four percent of Democratic and Democratic-leaning registered voters prefer Biden as the party’s pick to take on President Donald Trump in next year’s general election, according to a CNN poll conducted by SSRS and released Wednesday.

Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren ranks second with 19 percent support, followed by Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders with 16 percent.

Mayor Pete Buttigieg of South Bend, Indiana, and California Sen. Kamala Harris both achieved 6 percent in the poll, while Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar and former Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke raked in 3 percent of respondents." -  Quint Forgey | Politico

Current State of the 2020 Presidential Election

Current State of the 2020 Presidential Election I wanted to give an overview of the current state of the election. Here is some polling that I found and it looks like Joe Biden is leading the race. Many political commentators believe it is because of an "electability" factor, meaning he could potentially win against President Trump.  Latest Polls in Early Voting States Biden is also leading the polls among early voting states. These states are important in the political process not because of the number of electors that come from that state, but the media coverage candidates receive.  Here is a great Summary from The New York Times "Here is the latest. Biden Jr. remains the leading candidate, but he appears weaker now than on the day he entered the race. He has not gained...

Biden | Does He Have The Money To Continue

One of the largest issues for presidential candidates today is fund raising. Just because you've raised a lot of funds doesn't mean you will do well, but what happens when you don't have enough? My opinion, the amount candidates fundraise should be capped and businesses should not be allowed to contribute in any way. Now, I understand you do need money to advertise to people and let people know who you are but do they really need hundreds of millions of dollars, no. Imagine a presidential race fully funded by people where everyone is on the same level (in terms of money). I think we would have candidates who are more interested in their supporters issues and follow through when and if they get into office. I'll get off my soap box now. Recently Joe Biden, who is being identified as the front runner, has been having some fund raising issues.  Now, why is the supposed front runner having so many issues filling the coffers? His staff says it is because they got ...
